Group Home - Norwood

This home in Norwood, MA was a group home renovation project for Lifeworks. We converted an existing 3,600 square foot, 2 bedroom single family home into a 5 bedroom group home. We converted the existing bathrooms into full ADA bathrooms with roll-in showers and a full tile surround. Exterior ramps were added at each end of the house for ADA access, with a new retaining wall on one side to support the construction and a new rear deck was constructed. The existing 2-Car Garage was reduced to a single car garage with a new van-height garage door, and the remining space was built up to be a new staff room. The project also included a full HVAC upgrade with two Electric Heat Pumps, and a new backup generator.
